About the Job

The ITC Electrical Technologies Journeymen are responsible for installation, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning and servicing of electrical equipment and systems to the highest quality standards dictated by our field Foreman and industry standards.

You’ll be accountable for

 

Your personnel responsibilities include

  • Knowledge and experience with Oil and Gas Industry Processes
  • Follow and promote EH&S Safety Standards
  • Installing quality work in a neat and workman like manner
  • Working as a team member and coordinating with others to ensure a safe and productive work environment
  • Instructing and training Apprentices to install, maintain and repair electrical apparatus and equipment
  • Having a clear understanding of the National Electrical Code and reading blueprints
  •  
  • Professionalism with members of the team and customers

 

 

Other Journeyman activities include

  • Assembling and installing electrical parts and pieces
  • Appropriately diagnosing malfunctions in systems, apparatus and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of the breakdown and take appropriate steps to correct the problem
  • Installing raceways, pulling wire and mounting equipment
  • Proficiency with drawings, control drawings and troubleshooting control systems
  • Using the National Electrical Code, electrical formulas and other reference documentation to size pipe, conductors, overload and short circuit protection

 

You will also be part of a collaborative office team. You’ll be expected to engage in, communicate, and reinforce the mission, values, and culture of our company.

 

 

Requirements

  • Education: Wyoming Journeyman license
  • Travel as needed
